Patrick savours Abu Dhabi showdown, finishes fourth in the standings

ABU DHABI, NOVEMBER 01 2009 – Even though his results didn’t match his efforts, Patrick Huisman thoroughly enjoyed the Mobil 1 Porsche Supercup’s season final in Abu Dhabi this weekend. Due to his weight handicap (because of his above-average length) the SPS Performance driver had a hard time at the two long straights, but still savored the technical character of the 5.550 kilometer long Yas Marina Circuit. By finishing the two final races of this season in respectively 7th and 12th position, Huisman scored 18 valuable points which was enough to secure fourth position in the final driver standings.

FREE PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING
All Mobil 1 Porsche Supercup drivers and teams agreed anonymously that the newly build Yas Marina Circuit definitely sets the standard for new racing tracks worldwide. Patrick on the pace again in Monza!

MONZA, SEPTEMBER 13 2009 – After having experienced a difficult summer period in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Patrick Huisman was back on the pace in last weekend’s eleventh round of the Formula One support program series at Italian sole. SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, AUGUST 30 2009 – After already having experienced a difficult weekend in Valencia last week, Patrick Huisman’s woes continued at this weekend’s tenth round of the Mobil 1 Porsche Supercup at Spa-Francorchamps.
