SILVERSTONE, JUNE 21 2009 – Patrick Huisman enjoyed a successful showing in Silverstone this weekend, during the sixth round of the Mobil 1 Porsche Super Cup. The SPS Performance driver started the weekend on British soil strongly with fourth position in free practice and qualified on the fourth starting row (P7) for Sunday’s 14 lap race. After having survived a troubled start, the Dutch ace soon recovered and benefitted from two drivers being penalized with a drive through penalty. After having tangled around with Matt Halliday halfway the race, the four times champion chased James Sutton to the finish line and eventually finished in fourth position. But with Sutton as a guest driver not taking any points, Huisman netted 16 points to boost his 2009 title ambitions.
